Duties
As F&B Manager, you are responsible for the daily operations of the entire Food & Beverage department, including the restaurant, bar, room service, and banqueting. You lead a large team, which is supplemented by temporary staff during peak times. You are supported by an operational F&B Assistant, and a skilled head chef leads the kitchen team.
Your key responsibilities include:

Monitoring budgets and implementing targeted actions to achieve performance goals.

Overseeing personnel management: advising on recruitment, creating work schedules, and coaching and supporting the team.

Being actively present on the floor with your team to maintain a clear overview of operations.

Managing forecasting, budgeting, and cost control for the F&B department.

Developing, implementing, and adjusting operational procedures as needed.

Acting as a Head of Department and member of the hotel’s management team, including responsibility for Duty Shifts.
Profile
We are looking for a candidate with proven experience in a large-scale F&B operation, preferably within the hospitality industry. You are a dynamic, hands-on professional who thrives both on the floor and in administrative duties.
You also recognize yourself in the following:

Experience in a leadership role within Food & Beverage.

Strong people manager with infectious energy.

Excellent command of English and French. Knowledge of Dutch or a third language is a plus.

Strong administrative skills with proficiency in MS Office and hotel systems.

Organized, communicative, professional in appearance, stress-resistant, and a skilled multitasker.

Maturity and a sense of responsibility, capable of independently managing a large department.
Offer
Salary for this role is negotiable and depends on your experience. The gross salary is complemented by a hospitalization insurance, laptop, mobile phone, and an attractive bonus system.
The hotel follows the calendar of the European Commission, meaning that peak activity occurs mainly during weekdays and daytime hours. As a result, working hours are relatively stable and a healthy work-life balance is highly achievable!
