Revenue Manager
Company
This hospitality group creatively brings together unforgettable short- and long-term stays, events and food, all infused with art and culture. A place where inspiration, connection and discovery take centre stage. Modern, culturally engaged and environmentally conscious guests will feel right at home from the moment they arrive!
Duties
You will take the lead in Revenue Management across the different properties and develop an overarching commercial strategy. You look beyond traditional hotel rooms: the combination of hotel rooms, dorms, long stays, groups and MICE requires a smart approach to balancing capacity, pricing and target audiences.
Your responsibilities include:
-
Commercial Strategy & Revenue Optimisation: You develop and oversee the commercial strategy across all properties. You optimise occupancy rates, average daily rates and overall revenue, translating market insights into concrete commercial decisions.
-
Hybrid Inventory Management: You think beyond traditional hotel rooms. You determine how to allocate available capacity between dorms, hotel rooms and long stays to maximise revenue. Which accommodation type offers the highest return at any given time? You strategically balance the different products to achieve the best possible results.
-
Pricing & Forecasting: You develop and optimise pricing strategies, monitor market trends and competitors, and create well-founded forecasts. You build reports and dashboards that provide clear insights into commercial performance and future opportunities.
-
Groups & MICE: You work closely with the Sales and Events teams on group enquiries and MICE business. You analyse the impact of large bookings on available capacity and make informed decisions when balancing group bookings against individual reservations.
-
Systems & Processes: You build the in-house Revenue Management function from the ground up. You contribute to the selection, implementation and optimisation of the right systems and tools for pricing, distribution and reporting. You establish efficient processes that can scale alongside the organisation's international growth.
-
International Expansion & Pre-openings: You play a key role in the commercial launch of new properties. For the opening in Utrecht, you will help develop the entire pricing strategy, market positioning, competitive set, rate codes and system configurations. You will also play an important role in the commercial preparation and integration of future openings and acquisitions.
You will report directly to the COO and work closely with the General Managers and commercial teams across the different properties.
You act as their commercial sparring partner, taking on a guiding and advisory role. You help the teams develop a better understanding of Revenue Management, challenge existing approaches and ensure that commercial decisions are made not only from the perspective of individual properties, but with the organisation as a whole in mind.
You won't be managing a team, but you will know how to bring people along with your vision. You build trust, share your insights and translate complex analyses into clear, practical recommendations that can be applied in day-to-day operations.
