This leading and growing company is active all over Belgium. Currently, they run some 30 shops with different shop concepts and are busy developing and realising new concepts. In the shops, catering and retail are combined and you can always find a wide range with a focus on trendy, convenience, healthy & sustainability. With further expansion and the development of new shop concepts, we are looking for a Regional Manager for the shops in Brussels.

Duties

As Regional Manager, you will be responsible for the successful management of 10 to 15 shops within the Brussels region. You direct the managers of the various shops and ensure that they have all the tools they need to in turn lead the operational teams on site. Together with them, you ensure that the set goals are achieved and the business processes are executed efficiently.
Besides managing the existing shops, you are actively involved in leading projects such as opening new shops, working out and implementing new concepts or bringing in other innovations. You play an essential role in developing and implementing business strategies to drive growth and success within the company.

Your responsibilities can be divided into the following areas:

  • Operations & Commercial: support and coaching of the teams, bridge between headquarters and the teams on the field, monitoring of financial results
  • HR: coordination of recruitment, training and coaching, monitoring of all HR processes in consultation with the HR department
  • Audit: quality controls, general monitoring of order, cleanliness, food safety and compliance with regulations and procedures
  • Project management: monitoring commercial strategy, continuous optimisation of existing concepts and operations, coordination of (re)openings

Profile

  • Bachelor's degree and the intellectual acumen to handle a large span of control
  • at least 5 years' experience in an overhead role in a hospitality and/or food retail
  • strong leadership with a human perspective and coaching skills
  • good communication skills to inspire and motivate teams
  • you are strategically strong, but also have a hands-on attitude
  • analytically strong and good financial insight
  • PC literate with a good knowledge of MS Office
  • flexible attitude and no problem to be on the road every day between different offices
  • able to thrive in a dynamic environment and to react quickly to changing circumstances
  • French-speaking and knowledge of Dutch/English
  • living in the Brussels area
