The stylishly designed hotel offers all the comfort and facilities one would expect. Guests can enjoy an extensive breakfast, various meeting rooms, and a refined restaurant. The F&B department is currently undergoing a repositioning. For this transformation, they are looking for a creative chef to further define and shape its direction.
Duties
In this role, you will hold a key position across the hotel’s various F&B outlets. The entire F&B department is undergoing a renewal of its culinary experience, and as Chef, you will help define the direction from the very start. The main framework has already been established, but it is up to you to further develop it with your creativity and expertise.
- Develop and create new menus, concepts, and banqueting formulas
- Organise and coordinate the kitchen team
- Attract, recruit, and train kitchen staff within a growing team
- Closely monitor kitchen administration, including food cost, stock management, and purchasing
- Actively participate in the daily kitchen operations, ensuring consistent quality and hygiene standard
Profile
- You have several years of experience as a (Sous) Chef in a hotel or restaurant environment
- You have experience with Southern European cuisine, preferably modern Italian cuisine
- You are creative and innovative and closely follow the latest culinary trends
- You are hands-on but also strongly organised
- You are flexible, dynamic, and people-oriented
- You communicate fluently and professionally
- You speak French, English, or Dutch
