Director of Sales – Hotel

For a stylish and international hotel in Brussels, we are looking for an experienced Director of Sales. The hotel caters to both an international business and leisure clientele and offers a wide range of rooms, F&B and meeting & event facilities.

You will join a dynamic environment where guest experience, quality and commercial growth are at the heart of the business.

As Director of Sales, you will be responsible for developing and implementing the commercial strategy. You combine strategic insight with a hands-on approach and know how to motivate and develop the Sales team.

• Develop and implement the sales strategy
• Lead, coach and develop the Sales team
• Build and maintain strong corporate, MICE and key account relationships
• Drive business development and proactive sales
• Monitor revenue, targets, forecasts and commercial performance
• Analyse market and competitor trends
• Work closely with Revenue, Marketing and Operations
• Represent the hotel at trade fairs, events and networking opportunities

For this role, we are looking for a strong Sales professional with experience in a similar commercial position within the hospitality industry.

• Experience in MICE, corporate sales and/or business development
• Good knowledge of the Belgian and Brussels market
• Strong commercial and financial acumen
• Previous experience as a people manager, with a coaching approach
• Strong skills in relationship management, negotiation and business development
• Entrepreneurial, communicative and results-driven
• Affinity with an international and dynamic hospitality environment
• Fluent in English and French; Dutch is a plus
