Duties
- You help define sales objectives and annual plans based on the corporate strategy and translate them into concrete actions.
- You actively contribute to the further development of a strong network: colleagues, owners, general managers, local authorities, etc. Creating visibility is a top priority.
- You contribute to an innovative marketing strategy and ensure strong positioning of the hotel.
- You actively seek out new clients and opportunities.
- You manage and develop key accounts (companies, groups, events) and negotiate contracts.
- You monitor market trends and competitors and adjust actions where necessary.
- You organize and participate in sales activities, events, and trade fairs.
- As a true coach, you identify development needs and focus on maintaining a positive team atmosphere as a manager.
- You work closely with other departments to maximize commercial opportunities.
- You are part of the management team and contribute to thinking about the future and growth of the hotels.
Profile
For this position, we are looking for a candidate with a proven track record in sales, preferably in the hotel or hospitality sector. You have leadership skills and are eager to grow further in the strategic aspect.
- Additionally, the following are important:
- Several years of experience in sales, preferably already in a managerial role
- Excellent communication skills in Dutch and English; knowledge of French is a plus
- A service-driven and results-oriented mindset comes naturally to you
- You are a persuasive communicator and understand the importance of listening
