Sales Executive - Hotellerie

For an international hotel in Brussels, we are looking for an enthusiastic Sales Executive. The hotel primarily caters to an international and business clientele and offers, alongside its accommodation, a variety of F&B and event facilities.

Duties
As a Sales Executive, you will be part of the Sales team, with a strong focus on proactive sales. You will actively develop the market, build strong client relationships and ensure smooth follow-up of both new and existing business.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Market analysis & prospecting – analyse the market and target groups, identify opportunities and proactively approach new clients.
- Sales & contracting – convince clients during show-arounds, prepare proposals, calculate rates and conduct negotiations.
- Group reservations – follow up on enquiries and bookings and ensure clear briefings for the operations team.
- Account management – further develop existing client relationships and focus on building long-term partnerships.
- After-sales – monitor client satisfaction and handle any questions or issues in a professional manner.
- Revenue & growth – renew contracts, support rate increases with sound arguments and actively drive cross- and upselling opportunities.
- Networking – represent the hotel at relevant events and industry activities.
- Administration & systems – accurately maintain contracts and client information and ensure structured follow-up across the various systems.
- Collaboration – act as an important link between client feedback and operations and actively contribute ideas for improvements.
Profile
We are looking for an enthusiastic and commercially driven personality who takes initiative and gets energy from working with clients. In addition, you have:
- Hotel experience – a first experience in sales or hospitality is a plus.
- Sales knowledge – preferably some experience in a commercial role, or a strong motivation to develop your sales skills.
- Commercial mindset – you have a good eye for business and know how to identify commercial opportunities.
- Financial acumen – you are able to interpret figures, ratios and results and draw the right conclusions from them.
- Computer skills – you have a good knowledge of Excel and are comfortable learning new hotel systems.
- Service-oriented mindset – you have a natural affinity for hospitality and guest experience.
- Languages – you are fluent in French and English, both spoken and written; knowledge of Dutch is a plus.
