For the brasserie, we are looking for a driven Manager to lead the company. Someone who can uphold the reputation and fame of the restaurant.

Mission

As a manager, you are the key figure of the organization and the driving force behind the daily operations of the brasserie. You combine strategic insight with a people-oriented approach. Under your responsibility is an administrative employee, the chef, and the floor manager, followed by the operational team of approximately 25 permanent staff members. In addition to the permanent team, there is also a team of flexible workers.

You supervise the overall operation, resolve any problems or complaints, and ensure that the team is relieved of burdens and can perform their work. You work very independently and report weekly to the business owner.

Your main tasks broadly include:

  • Leading and motivating the team in the dining area and kitchen, with a focus on respect, honesty, authenticity, and team spirit.
  • Closely monitoring budgets, KPIs, staff, and food costs.
  • Contributing to the menu and guest experience, allowing room for initiatives from yourself or the team.
  • Communicating with customers regarding specific requests or complaints.
  • Ensuring continuity in terms of quality and operational flow.

Profil

For this position, we are looking for a strong management profile, a person with a proven track record in the hospitality industry.

Furthermore:

  • You are presentable and have strong communication skills.
  • You have experience in leading and coaching a large team.
  • You are a true people manager with strong organizational skills.
  • You possess strategic and financial insight and know how to leverage it effectively.
  • You can combine a strategic approach with a hands-on mentality.
  • You preferably speak French and Dutch.
  • You can work autonomously and have a strong sense of responsibility.
