Duties
Hospitality here is not a department, but a mindset - and as COO you bring everything together, making the difference between a good concept and an exceptional hospitality group.
- You hold end-to-end responsibility for the operational performance of a growing multi-site hospitality group with hotels, restaurants, events, and meeting spaces
- You translate the strategic vision into a scalable and future-proof operating model that supports growth without losing the soul of the concept
- You lead and develop a team of General Managers, ensuring clear structure, accountability, and a shared rhythm across all locations
- You design and implement unified SOPs and operational standards that guarantee consistency across all sites, while allowing room for local identity
- You play a key role in the opening and integration of new hotels, ensuring every new location is operationally strong from day one
- You are responsible for driving financial performance, continuously monitoring and optimising revenue, margins, cost structure, and efficiency
- You work closely with Finance, Marketing, Sales, and HR to ensure seamless alignment between operations, brand, and commercial performance
- You make decisions on systems, tools, and partners (PMS, POS, revenue management, and external suppliers) with a focus on scalability and efficiency
- You foster collaboration across all teams and locations, actively building knowledge sharing, talent development, and a strong group culture
- You combine strategic leadership with an entrepreneurial, hands-on mindset while safeguarding the energy, creativity, and identity of the concept during growth
Profile
We are looking for an experienced and versatile hospitality professional with a strong holistic understanding of how a modern hospitality concept operates and scales. Someone who does not think in silos, but understands and connects the full picture: operations, guest experience, F&B, events, systems, and brand storytelling.
- You combine strategic thinking with a strong hands-on mindset
- You feel equally comfortable on the hotel floor as in the boardroom, and you switch effortlessly between detail and helicopter view
- You have experience in multi-site hospitality or in a complex hospitality environment where different products and services come together
- You understand how to safeguard quality across multiple locations, without losing local dynamism and entrepreneurial spirit
- You bring clarity, rhythm, and accountability, and you know how to bring people along in that
- You have a natural affinity with systems and operational tools (such as PMS, POS, and revenue management) and understand how technology and processes enable scalability and efficiency
- You are entrepreneurial, present, approachable, and energetic, with a clear drive to further shape and scale a growing hospitality concept
- You are a connector: between teams, locations, and disciplines. You foster collaboration, knowledge sharing, and a shared way of working across the group
- You are fluent in English; knowledge of Dutch, French, and German is a strong plus
