This 4*-hotel has a central location in Brussels and good accessibility. It's a full-service hotel with +-250 hotelrooms, large offer of M&E spaces, a restaurant, bar, fitness etc. The hotel attracts a mix of leisure and business guests. Due to the location and the facilities it's a perfect spot for multi-day seminars. The hotel has a strong brand and is owned by a company with several hotels in Europe of which a few located in Belgium.
The team counts around 50 employees. Housekeeping and security is outsourced.
As the General Manager of this hotel you are in charge of the daily operations and leading the team. Your focus is quality, service and the follow-up of the brand standards. Your goal is to achieve good results on every aspect. Next to the operations, you will take care of the administration, financial control and budgeting.
You will report directly to the Operations Director. As the head office is located in France, you will have a high level of freedom and independency.
For this position we are looking for a guest-oriented General Manager with focus on operations. At least 3-5 years of GM-experience in a chainhotel is required.
