HR Manager Hotelgroep

This hotel group has about 10 hotels in its portfolio, spread across Belgium. Currently, there are many developments underway within the hotels, with a particular focus on increasing quality, both in terms of the 'looks' of the hotels and the service level.

For this position, we are looking for an HR Manager who will help shape HR policy and also carry out tasks "hands-on." You will ensure a professional, engaged, and efficient HR organization within the hotels.
In this versatile role, you will be an important sparring partner for the GMs of the various hotels. You will combine a strategic HR vision with a hands-on approach and know perfectly what is happening on the work floor.
Your will

• Oversee good HR policy and the application of the correct legal framework.
• Advise management and hotel management on personnel policy, labor law, talent development, and employee engagement.
• Support and guide the team with various HR questions.
• Help build a professional HR and corporate culture in which employees feel engaged and valued.
• Coordinate recruitment policy and contribute to attracting and retaining quality employees.
• Take initiatives regarding training, development, performance reviews, and growth opportunities.
• Closely monitor Belgian social legislation and HR regulations and translate changes into the organization.
• Collaborate with external partners and be responsible for the correct follow-up of social and administrative HR processes, in collaboration with local teams.
• Identify areas for improvement within the organization and translate them into concrete HR projects and processes.
• Work with a colleague and report to the international HR director.

For this role, we are looking for a candidate with experience in the hotel industry or similar structures within the hospitality sector. Knowledge of PC302 and the legal framework of the hospitality sector is a must.

• You have a relevant higher education and possess several years of experience in an HR function.
• You have a good knowledge of Belgian labor law and social relations.
• You are both strategically strong and operationally hands-on.
• You communicate fluently and know how to convince and connect different stakeholders in a professional manner.
• You are discreet, integrous, and have a well-developed sense for people and organization.
• You are analytical and structured, but never lose sight of the human side of HR.
• You speak excellent English and Dutch. Knowledge of French is a big plus.
